Lucia at Kåren

Here's a picture from the Kåren table we had at Lucia. Gabriella, David, Zeb, Camilla, John and Alain gave out about 90 cups of coffee and tea, about 120 Lucia buns, and 5 to 10 New Testaments. Just like when we had the first kåren table, people expressed a lot of gratitude for what we did - a great night! =)

Special guest, Bible study and discussion

On Tuesday 9 December Mark Carlsson, student secretary of Credo Sweden, will visit us and lead us in a Bible study and discussion about how to reach out to other students with the gospel.

Place: At Svenja Trinkus' place on Jungfruvägen 93 B on Bojsenburg.
Time: 7pm. Walk from the entrance of Britsen at 6:45pm.

Movie night

Tomorrow, Tuesday 2 December, it's movie night!

Place: Camilla's appartment (she has a movie projector!)

We will first watch the film, then discuss it as we have some fika!

Open lecture at Högskolan

On Tuesday 25 November we will host an open lecture at Högskolan!
The time is 7pm-8pm and the place is room V322 in the main buildning of Högskolan in Falun.
The topic is "What God wants with your life" and EVERYBODY are welcome!

Surprise on Tuesday

On Tuesday there will be an evening of surprises in Elsborgskyrkan! We will start there at 7pm, and you can either go there directly or meet others to go together from the entrance of Britsen at 6:30pm. Here's a link to a map which shows where Elsborgskyrkan is:

Mission: Chinese guest

Tomorrow we have a special guest at the Credo-meeting: Phoenix from China. Some time ago he decided to go to the west of China to bring the gospel to the Uigur people there. For two weeks Phoenix and his friend walked in the desert to reach this people, and tomorrow evening he will tell us about this experience and show us pictures.

Kåren table was a success!

I fredags stod jag, David och John utanför kåren och bjöd studenter på kaffe, te och pizzabullar. reaktionerna från studenterna som kom förbi var väldigt positiva och det var många som undrade varför vi stod där. Många tyckte det var bra och att vi borde göra det fler gånger.
Vi delade ut mer än 50 pizzabullar och mer än 60 koppar te eller kaffe! :-)

On Friday me, David and John stood outside Kåren and offered coffee, tea and pizza buns to students. The response from the students who passed was very positive and many wondered why we stood there. Many thought it was a good thing and that we should do it more times.
We handed out more than 50 pizza buns and more than 60 cups of tea and coffee! :-)

Worship on Tuesday

On Tuesday we'll have a worship evening together! There'll be lots of modern worship songs, and you can also bring your own favourite worship songs for us to sing! =) There'll also be prayer, and of course - free fika! =)

Populärt med Bibelbord på högskolan

På onsdagen och torsdagen hade vi Bibelbord på högskolan i Falun. Över trettio personer tog nya testamenten och vi fick också flera intressanta samtal med olika studenter. Gud är god! =)
Förhoppningsvis blir det fler Bibelbord på högskolan i höst. Det enda som krävs är att det finns folk från Credo som vill ställa upp med att sitta där - hör av dig till någon i styrelsen om du är intresserad!

Barbecue at lake Varpan

We had a cosy barbecue at lake Varpan, with Swedish varmkorv and German Frikadellen. =) Yes, there were some Swedish people there too, but they're not in the picture. =)

First meeting of the term

The first meeting of the term is on Tuesday 2 September!
We will meet at Högskolan in Falun in the main hall called "Ljushallen", at 7 pm. Welcome!

Credo på studentmässan i Borlänge

Alain och David skänkte Biblar, infokort och godis till de nya studenterna på högskolan i Borlänge.
Resultat: 17 Biblar och cirka 20 infokort bortskänkta. =)
